Greetings RMFL fans and followers!

Far too often as human beings, we find ourselves focused on the negative things in life.  Take one look at the news at five o’clock or in the morning paper if you’re not sure what I’m talking about; it’s all over the place.  Murder, drugs, economy, politics, even our own little slice of heaven is rife with everything wrong with life (and football).

Well, what about what’s right with life?  I’m a “hopeless optimist” by nature, so surrounding myself with negativity does me no good, and consequently, those around me no good at all.  My folks always taught me, and I learned from some of the most successful people I know that a guy can get a lot further in life with a hearty work ethic and a good positive attitude.  In fact, it’s a mantra of mine in my coaching profession, and I’d like to think that it is a big part of my shared success as a football coach.
